Traffic tickets written by the Sheriff's Office, Highway Patrol, Game Warden and other state law enforcement agencies are filed in the district court. Traffic tickets written by a police department are generally filed in that department's municipal court. The correct court should be written on the traffic ticket. Appear at the Canadian County Sheriff's Office between the hours of 8:00 am and 10:00 am, Monday through Friday to have your finger prints taken. There is a $10 fee for each set of prints.
